A native of Seattle, Colleen spent two years singing with Bridget St. John in their folk/pop band Sweet Punch. Her backup vocals can be heard on their cd Magic Stones. She then joined her buddies in DeusSex in August 2004 to contribute her exuberant vocal skills. She's influenced musically by practically any piece of music she can get her hands on, as evidenced by her wieldy vinyl collection. But the top of her treasure list would include Kate Bush, Joni Mitchell, Badfinger, Janis Ian, The Pixies, The Beach Boys, Depeche Mode, Heart, The Beatles, Sonic Youth, Jimi Hendrix, Nina Simone, Astrud Gilberto, Kirsty McColl, Jeff Buckley, The Who, and Stevie Wonder. Colleen plans to study the majestic sounds of Skinny Puppy and NIN so she can contribute an appropriate industrial sensibility to DeusSex.
